The objective of the program is to help people answer their call to become an evangelist and effectively share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others.


What is the learning outcome?

You’ll learn the essential tools you need to be an evangelist and boldly proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ with power and authority.


What is a self-paced program?

A self-paced program means you are not required to be in contact with professors and other students. You can study at your own pace, and when necessary, you can ask questions in the communications area of your dashboard.


How does student support work?

Support and delivery of the program are provided by Lucent University. Lucent University has a dedicated team ready to provide technical assistance, content management, hosting, and student support. Lucent University will answer all questions regarding registration, pricing, duration of the program, and usability of the learning system. Support is offered through the learning dashboard or the support page.


What if I need technical assistance?

For technical support, please send Lucent's technical team an email from the learning dashboard. You can also contact Lucent via the support page to report any issue.


Does the program require prior ministry experience?

No prior ministry experience is required. You'll gain the essential knowledge right from the foundational principles of evangelism to its strategic practical application by exploring real-world challenges, first-hand spiritual experiences, powerful sermons, and much more.


What kind of equipment do I need?

To access the program, students need to have an internet connection, notebook, desktop computer with speakers, smartphone, or tablet. All equipment needs to have the latest version of the web browser of your choice installed.


Can I start at any time?

You can start your program immediately after completing the enrollment process. This process includes filling out the enrollment form, setting up your password, and making a one-time payment.


What do I have to do to enroll?

3. After submitting the form, you will receive an email with instructions on how to set your password.
4. Pay the one-time fee using PayPal. After your payment is completed, the program will be immediately available to you.


What happens after I submit my application?

After completing the enrollment form, you'll receive an email with instructions on how to set your password. Once it is set and the payment is successful, proceed to login from the homepage. The student dashboard will load, and click on “Courses” or “Units” to access the program.


Is the program available in Spanish?

The content is in English, and the video classes are subtitled in English and Spanish.


What are the topics of the program?

This program has a total of four courses:
1. Preparation: The purpose is to train God’s people in the biblical and practical principles of proclamation evangelism from Billy Graham’s ministry.
2. Proclamation: You will learn how to prepare powerful evangelistic messages as you study the value of the Bible, the necessity of prayer, the organization of materials, and the patterns of preaching.
3. Power: The course will help you to define the enemy, identify particular areas of attack, and prepare for battle.
4. Preservation: You will learn the basic principles for developing a plan to encourage new believers and place them on the road to discipleship.


Who are the instructors?

Billy Graham, Franklin Graham, Will Graham, Anne Graham Lotz, John Stott, J.I. Packer, Robert Coleman, and many more men and women who have dedicated their lives to sharing the Good News of salvation in Christ.


How much time do I need to spend studying?

You can comfortably complete the program in 2 months, studying two to four hours per week.


How long does it take to complete the program?

You will have access to the dashboard for 180 days. That should be enough time for you to complete the four courses of the program. If you need an extension, don't worry. Contact Lucent's support page, and we will be happy to provide more time to complete the program.


What is the cost of the program?

The price is based on the Purchasing Power Parity (PPP) of the country where you live. This makes the program affordable to everyone in the world. To know the program price for your country, visit the price section on the program homepage and select your country from the drop-down menu.


How do I pay?

How are exams administered?

There are four multiple-choice exams in the program, one at the end of each course. The exams are corrected automatically after you finish taking them. The score is displayed after successful submission. If you pass, the exam closes and gives you a final grade. If you don't pass, you can redo the exam until you achieve a passing grade.


What is the passing grade?

The passing grade for all exams is 70 points.


How many attempts are there per exam?

You can take the exams multiple times until you achieve a passing grade. Each time you start a new exam, the questions and answers are shuffled, meaning that every exam is unique.


Do I have to write assignments or papers?

Students are not required to write book reviews, compositions, or research papers.


How do I track or check the progress of my learning?

This can be viewed in the “Courses” section of your learning dashboard. The “Progress” column indicates your learning progress in percentage form while the “Completed” column displays the number of units completed.


How will I receive a Certificate?

The program offers 4 different certificates, one for each course. The certificates are digital in high-resolution PDF format that you can print on your own. The certificate for each course is available in the course list immediately after you complete a course. Each certificate has a unique Digital Certificate Number to certify its authenticity.


How do I download my Certificates?

The digital certificate for each course is autogenerated once the progress reaches 100% and the exam score is above 70 points.
Follow these steps to navigate, access, and download your certificates:
1. Locate the Certificate column in the Courses tab.
2. If the certificate is available, click on the green badge. If the badge is in light gray, you still need to complete parts of the program.
3. Wait about a minute for the system to prepare your certificate. When your certificate appears on your screen, print it or save the PDF file.


Do I get college credits for the program?

No. This is a non-credit online extension program.


Upon completion of the program, will I receive some type of ordination or credential?

No. The School of Evangelism Online is an online extension program focused on introducing students to the call and ministry of an evangelist. The purpose of the program is not to serve as an ordination tool or qualify the student to have a formal affiliation with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.


Will this program officially make me an evangelist?

No. The School of Evangelism Online is the first step in the fulfillment of your call to become an evangelist. Becoming an evangelist is a process that may include seminary training, work with your denominations and local churches, and above all, an answer to the call and leadership of the Holy Spirit in your life.


After I complete the program, what is next?

The School of Evangelism Online will give you an overall perspective of the calling and work of an evangelist. Upon completion of the program, if you feel the Lord is calling you to become an evangelist, don't resist the Holy Spirit. Surrender to your calling! You can pray about getting a seminary degree, starting an evangelism ministry in your local church or denomination, or becoming an evangelist in a foreign nation, etc. Remember the words of Jesus, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore, plead with the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” (Luke 10:2 NASB)
